My Manga Studio setup for painting greyscales

Description

People sometimes ask what brushes I use, my layer setup etc...  it changes or evolves every time, but this was my latest setup for painting greyscales.
I paint and draw in Manga Studio and add colors and other stuff in Photoshop (I'll do similar thing for PS stuff some other day)

I have own folders with mask for each part of the image (cloths, skin, hair etc) so I don't need to make masks or selection all the time. Helps not to ruin other parts and later when I color and add textures. It ofc takes more time to make masks for each part and big changes later to whole image can be pain with this style. Works best with characters and mechanical stuff.

On bottom layer I paint basic large scale shadings, basic shapes, no details (or I try not to :)). Details I paint on own layers and then I usually have couple multiply & overlay layers where I make bigger size fixes on lighting and add drop shadows and highlights

I use mostly only three brushes: hard edge brush and very large super smooth, plus blending brush (which I can turn on by holding CTRL). Blending brushes are very helpful and makes painting gradient shadings super fast (doing same in PS takes ages).

I hope this answers at least to some of the questions :?
